Six Sigma Course Description
This three part short course is designed to provide a broad understanding of the Six Sigma improvement methodology, concepts and language including a basic understanding of the economic value to organizations that have implemented the Six Sigma approach. The Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control (DMAIC) methodology is presented with explanations of each phase. The concept of Defects per Million Opportunities (DMO) is explained as it relates to the process improvement methods inherent in the Six Sigma project by project approach to process improvement. A glossary of common terms is provided to aid the student as a quick reference guide to the Six Sigma terminology. A post test is provided after each part.
